I (Atsushi Mukasa) was reappointed to the board of directors. I will continue to make every effort to be of service to the association over the next two years.

My most recent assignment is a study tour of the Association & Mounting Training School.
This time, we will visit the production area of Japanese paper ・ indigo dyeing in Tokushima and Japanese paper in Tosa.
We believe it will be a meaningful training, and we will report the results soon.

And!

Hikariba Art Festival 2025 ” will feature concerts, kids’ stages, art exhibits, traditional culture exhibits, workshops, and much more,
these is the first time for us to host this unique art event.

We will be exhibiting our traditional culture exhibit, which is a little (a lot?) different from the hanging scrolls you often see in Japanese-style rooms and tokonoma (alcove). different from the hanging scrolls you often see in Japanese-style rooms and tokonoma (alcove),
We will be exhibiting a few different kakejiku scrolls from those often seen in Japanese-style rooms and alcoves. Please come and see them.
There is an admission fee, but we believe it will be more than worth it.
We will introduce the exhibited works in a later article.

In addition to the above, we will also be exhibiting the following

Saitama City’s “sai-coin” and “tama-pon” can be used at our store as well.

Good news for those who live in Saitama City.
For a limited time, 15% of the payment made with SAICOIN will be returned in TAMAPON.
Even for those who live outside Saitama City, they will receive 3% of Tama-pon for every charge.
Quite a bargain.

During the last campaign, we had many customers who wanted to pay with SaiCoin.
This time, too, “shoji screen・Fusuma re-covering,” “Kakejiku re-tailoring,” “Calligraphy work mounting,” etc,
Please consider using it as a payment for various purposes, such as “replacement of a fusuma”, “tailoring a hanging scroll”, “mounting a calligraphy work”, and so on.

That’s all for now. Please take care of yourself as the heat continues to be extremely hot.
