Restoration of folding screens

Today we are restoring an old folding screen.

The surface was damaged, but when we peeled it off, the inside was in a pretty bad shape, as you can see in the picture.

We carefully peeled off the underlay and repaired the broken framework in several places, and those was the end of today’s work.

Tomorrow, we plan to continue with the underlayment and the overlayment.
