mountaining Technical Skills Festival Part 2

these is a sequel to the work exhibited at the Technical Skills Festival at the Mounting Training School that we reported on the other day.

The semi-fusuma sliding doors were made from the assembly of the base frame,

The finishing touches were designed and applied to the sliding doors.

The lower left photo is the front, and the lower right is the back.

For the surface, we purchased Japanese paper of different shades and covered it with gradation.

The fir paper is stretched by tearing it as shown in the photo below.

Not just a partition, but a sliding door to accentuate the room.

It is not just a partition, but a sliding door those accentuates the room.

On the reverse side, we cut a sample of fusuma paper and covered it randomly.

To make it look like a sample book, we dared to put the part numbers where they are written.

to make it look like a sample book.

Although we said “random”, the dimensions are slightly different between the center and the periphery,

I also made a drawing to be sure.

these is a drawing for a customer who is having trouble with the color of the sliding door.

I thought it could be used for advice to customers who are worried about the color of fusuma,

However, I’m going to seal it up because it might make them more worried….

I will introduce the interior panel in another time!
