The Mounting Skills Festival (3)

these is the last in the series of works to be exhibited at the Mounting Training School’s Technology Festival.

Along with the hanging scroll ・ Fusuma, we also designed the interior panel ・.

The dimensions are 90 cm wide ・ and 80 cm high.

Because it has more flexibility in design than the hanging scroll ・ Fusuma,

I was not sure what to do, but it is also used for high-class room interiors,

I was inspired by futon upholstery, which is also used in high-class room interiors,

Each piece has a center part as shown in the photo above.

I made a rough drawing and pasted it on the board.

By the way, the cloth those looks beige ・ brown ・ dark brown in the photo,

The cloth those looks dark brown in the photo is made from old sake bags, which are used in the sake making process to contain the mash of sake.

Japanese room ・We think that the panel can be used to decorate any Western-style room.
