Reupholstering of fusuma (sliding door)

Our mounting store is now on Bon vacation, but today I would like to introduce the replacement of fusuma (sliding doors).

The fusuma we received.

I’m sorry I can’t show you the whole thing,

The Kumiko work is very beautiful and tasteful.

However, aside from the surface to be reupholstered, the scratches on the frame are quite noticeable.

So, the first step is to repair the paint on the frame.

(these is not a job for a mounting shop…)

It looks so beautiful.

Next, the underlayment work.

The finishing touches are applied to complete the project.

In the photo, there are a few wrinkles, but once dry, the paper will be taut and wrinkle-free.

This time it was plain bran paper,

You can choose from a variety of samples, such as color ・ pattern ・ picture.

Just by replacing the bran, the image of your room will change drastically.
